Preparations are under way

Each term we host an eager group of the bible college curious. We are not unique in this, most schools do it. Called by various names in other places we choose to call ours “College Day.” Curious students and a few parents come to the college and spend the day with us; going to class, attending chapel and seeing if what we have to offer is what they are looking for in a post secondary school. Christ For The Nations Bible College is not for everyone. We know that. However, it is a place of potential growth on many different levels. We have academic classes, we have a good family feel to our fellowship but most important we have a strong spiritual emphasis. Some may question why we need a spiritual side to our learning. But Jesus revealed our need when He quoted Deut. 6 in answer to an inquisitive teacher of the law. When asked what the greatest commandment was, Jesus reaffirmed that we were to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We are to be well rounded and that should include a spirit that has been allowed, no encouraged, to grow as well. We train our bodies, we train our mind, we look for ways to increase our capacity to love but we need to also allow our spirit to soar. So if you know anyone (maybe yourself) whose spirit needs to be strengthened invite them to come be a student for a day. It may just open up their eyes as to who they really are in Christ.
