Good Friday has come.

No, not The Good Friday, just good Friday. As long as my work week ends on Friday, it makes it a good Friday. Our first week of school has come and gone. The students are sorting out their class loads and looking over the homework requirements. The teachers are looking forward to allowing our voices to rest over the weekend. Vancouver is approaching a wet weather record with the most days in a row with measurable precipitation (rain) and that means an indoor restful weekend for me.

Rumor has us going south tonight for a fulfilled evening of shopping for clothes and to make it worse, I am the unlucky victim. It seems my children have volunteered to help Dad pick out some more upbeat apparel. Not that I mind my late 80's style, but they feel an update is needed. Good luck! You can lead a horse to water, or so the old saying goes, but you can't make him open his wallet and pay for stuff. I will let you know how it goes.
